By 2020, Rise Up! wants to have significantly impacted 500 kids through mentoring and a college education.
Our mission: “To impact 100 kids To become 1st generation college students."
Our vision: “To holistically love, influence, and impact 500 under resourced kids through
life-skill training, mentoring, and a college education with the expectation they will
do likewise for others.”
Imagine… 100 kids believed in, motivated, prayed for, college prepared, who know Jesus and are becoming Kingdom builders.
We need your help. Join the Mentoring Man on walk #3.
* Fall 2010 - 500 Miles, for 500 Kids. *
Here’s how you can help. By joining in the Mentoring Man’s vision we need you to:
1. Pray – This can only be done through Him and for His glory.
2. Join the Mentoring Man Facebook group.
3. Starting July 1- Tell friends on Facebook to become a “fan” of the Mentoring Man.
4. Walk at least 1 mile with the Mentoring Man.
5. Purchase a walking shirt for $10.
6. Ask at least 1 friend to join the team.
7. Invest your resources as you feel led.
8. Promote the Mentoring Man when possible.
9. Put a “Who mentored you?” picture on our website.
What happens now?
1. Pray about being a part of this “wild goose chase.”
2. I’ll call you in 3 days after you fill out the contact form above.
Yes, this is crazy, but so was the ark, falling walls, walking on the water, and the cross.
